I'm on a mission!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit … ” Matthew 28:19

"GO" is the word and theme that has become the driving force behind my preparation for the mission trip I am embarking on this year! I will be travelling to Eastern Europe from July 14-27 on a mission with my home church, Olympic Evangelical Free, with a team of 12 people.

On this mission trip, we will be spreading the gospel to the people by developing the property that our in-country partner has been blessed with so the ministry they do is safe and successful. We will mainly be building a concrete fence that will allow their ministry to provide a safe place for kids and families.

 This blog is a virtual way for me to update my friends and family all around the world about my personal journey as I prepare for, go on, and return from this trip. I am sure that it will be life changing, and I hope to encounter things that not only encourage me in my walk with Christ, but also terrify me and in turn, make me grow.

I would appreciate your support in prayer for this endeavour, here are some things in particular you can pray about:

     Safety - For our trip and for traveling to and in a country that is hostile toward the gospel
     Training - To become a team focusing on what God desires to do in and through us
     Paperwork - That all of the necessary documents would be completed and accepted
     Health - That our team would be sustained physically, emotionally, and spiritually while in a foreign land  
     Funds - That our financial needs would be met quickly so that we can concentrate on the spiritual and not the material needs of our trip

Along with diving into the word of God, I am also diving into my bank account, as the cost of this trip is $2,500 a person. Would you pray about helping me with a small donation?
